Following an early playoff exit by the Milwaukee Bucks, fans seem more willing than ever to trade away key pieces of the roster to shake things up.

To a degree, it’s understandable. The Bucks will have little spending money and very limited assets to trade this off-season, so upgrading will be challenging, but not impossible. Everyone has plenty of ideas about what a trade should look like, and some are better than others. It truly depends on the type of player the Bucks want in return. Some want the Bucks to shoot for the stars and get an All-Star talent, while some think the team should just work around the edges of the roster. The latter seems far more likely for this team, so it’s interesting to assess some realistic names.

Bleacher Report writer Greg Swartz recently proposed a trade that would see the Bucks trade for OKC Thunder forward Kenrick Williams. Let us take a look at the trade and break it down entirely.

The logic of B/R’s Kenrick Williams trade for the Milwaukee Bucks

This section will be fairly quick.

First and foremost, no disrespect will be sent Kenrich Williams’ way whatsoever. He’s been a solid rotational player during his five years in the NBA thus far and has a bright future ahead. The major issues with the trade here are the package itself rather than the player. If there is any logic behind this trade, it is that the Bucks could get a fine rotational player who has untapped potential to shore up their power forward depth.

That’s truly about it here.
