Ranking Milwaukee Bucks trade targets. 1 – Buddy Hield, Indiana Pacers

A good number of Bucks fans have wanted Buddy Hield for years. That high level of interest in the should certainly not stop anytime soon, as Hield would be the perfect off-season trade target for the Bucks with Bradley Beal now off the table.

Hield has made a living in the NBA as an incredible long-range shooter. Since he entered the NBA in 2016-17, the shooting guard has made the second-most triples out of anyone, with 1,705, via Stat Muse. The Bucks, who tend to construct their rosters by placing shooters around their star in Giannis Antetokounmpo, would undoubtedly benefit from adding a sharpshooter of Hield’s caliber. Over the past few years, the Bucks have brought in Kyle Korver, Bryn Forbes, and Grayson Allen to be a kick-out threat on the perimeter for Antetokounmpo, giving them an abundance of excellent looks. Hield would be the best version of that kick-out threat for the Milwaukee Bucks to date.

Hield is entering the last year of a four-year contract, where he is set to make $18.6 million for the Indiana Pacers. With his deal expiring, perhaps the Pacers may be more inclined to move Hield to get something in return. The Bucks can’t offer the sun and the moon, but they could certainly put together a solid offer to get the sharpshooter and their best shooting guard in several years.
