A.J. Green’s long-term outcome with the Milwaukee Bucks

There is no doubt that A.J. Green’s skillset is ideal for playing in the association and that he can become a strong rotational player.

At 23 years old, there is still plenty of room for Green to grow and improve on his game. If the Bucks keep him for his full contract, then he will enter free agency at 26, entering the prime of his career potentially.

One thing Green will need to work on is his defensive abilities. Griffin is a very strong defensive coach, and his Toronto Raptors teams consistently had top defenses year on year. The new head coach can help aid Green on this side of the ball, but his on-ball defense will need to improve if he wants to keep on increasing his time spent in games. Adding this will boost the Bucks as a whole, but also Green, for his career, could develop into a solid 3-and-D type player.

For this coming season, Green will continue to show his shooting ability and should start to see an increase in minutes. That gives him value for the short-term, but in the long-term, there will be hope that he develops his defensive game and can play a serious part on Bucks teams over the coming years.
