The verdict on A.J. Green’s new deal with the Milwaukee Bucks

Overall this is a very good deal for the Bucks. It is a low-risk, high-reward deal, and that is nothing more you can ask for from an undrafted player. When he featured last season, his shooting was the best on the team, and when given more time on the court, this will be an even bigger factor in the Bucks’ game.

The deal itself is a fantastic piece of business from the Bucks. If Green continues to grow, then they can choose to keep him, and he will still be on a cheap contract, if they feel it isn’t working out, then they can let him go and not risk much from a financial standpoint.

With a full season in the NBA and not swapping between the Herd and Bucks, Green can grow both as a player and in his role in the game plan. He has the NBA experience under his belt now, and if he keeps his shooting up with more minutes on the floor, his value for the Bucks will skyrocket as to their success in the upcoming season.

To conclude, this is a great move for both parties and one that Green most certainly deserved.
