5 Milwaukee Bucks who could surprise fans during 2023-24 NBA season: Khris Middleton

The past year and a half has been a tough one for Khris Middleton, as the forward has spent a ton of time on the sidelines due to injuries. He was limited to just 38 total games last year, which was the fewest since his rookie season. Bucks fans went back and forth on whether or not it was wise to give him a new deal this off-season, and Middleton will aim to prove that he was worth it.

A healthy Middleton is still a great player. When he was healthy in these past playoffs, he put up a line of 23.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 6.2 assists in five games. It’s not a large sample size, but the forward showed that he’s still got plenty of juice when he’s healthy. The task at hand now will be staying healthy and producing consistently as the Milwaukee Bucks’ second-best player.

The Bucks need Middleton to make a championship run, and he’s more than up for the challenge. As he looks to bounce back from a recent string of tough injuries, Middleton could very well earn his fourth All-Star selection next season. Book it as a bold prediction. A healthy Middleton could surprise quite a few people next season, especially if it’s in a deep playoff run. Fingers crossed.
