4. Acquire CP3

The Bucks do not need another aging player on their roster, but they do not have the assets to acquire a premium talent in his prime. Milwaukee can trade their 2029 1st round draft pick, two first-round pick swaps, and two second-round picks. That is all they can offer. The Bucks would have to get extremely creative to land Giannis a younger co-star.

As the desperation kicks in with the fears of losing arguably the best player in the world, the front office will use whatever draft assets are available to add talent. Their offense can stagnate in the playoffs, and Milwaukee could use another shot-creator.

Chris Paul could be available before the trade deadline. He was dealt twice this offseason and ended up in Golden State. The Warriors have a starting point guard, which could force CP3 to the bench for the first time in his career. How will the future Hall of Famer adjust to a new role on a contending squad? If he cannot, the Dubs could look to move on.

The Warriors are keeping a close eye on their spending too. Chris Paul has a $30 million fully non-guaranteed salary for the 2024-25 season. Golden State might move on, and the legend could look to chase a championship. What better place than Milwaukee playing next to Giannis?

The Milwaukee Bucks would have to be desperate to add a point guard approaching his 40th birthday, but their options will be limited.
