4. Milwaukee Bucks – Giannis Antetokoumpo, Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday

It pains me to put the Milwaukee Bucks here on a Milwaukee Bucks site. Yet, it’s hard to look past the playoff exit this past year when Giannis Antetokounmpo went down and the struggles that Jrue Holiday showed.

Middleton did miss a lot of last season due to injury, so that may knock them down slightly due to their lack of time together. With just Giannis and Holiday on the floor, the Milwaukee Bucks had a net rating of +14.3; with Middleton, it actually dropped to +10.6, per Cleaning the Glass.

Now, stats don’t mean everything, and it doesn’t paint the full picture, of course. When the three of them played together, Holiday always seemed to struggle offensively, as we saw in the playoff matchup between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Miami Heat.

Following on from last season, there were rumors of teams looking at Middleton and fans calling for Holiday to be traded as the Milwaukee Bucks look to freshen up the roster. Let’s not forget that these three did win a title in 2021, but with both Middleton now 32 and Holiday 33, we may already have the best of this trio.

This is still an elite Big 3 in the NBA, and with Giannis Antetokounmpo leading, the Milwaukee Bucks will always be in contention to win the title.
