Reacting to Milwaukee Bucks hot takes

“Andre Jackson Jr. will be good enough this year (and the Bucks desperately need a wing-stopper) to play in the playoffs – @WisDemGov2018

The sample size isn’t bountiful, but thus far, I’ve loved what I’ve seen from Jackson. As expected, he’s shown tremendous athleticism, hustle, and a knack for making plays defensively whenever he is on the court. He appears ready for meaningful NBA action this coming season, and he should be a part of the rotation in that wing-stopper role. In the right role, he could be a huge piece.

“AJJ (Andre Jackson Jr.) is more important to the team than MarJon this year” – @dlarson1218

Ultimately, it’ll likely boil down to which player will play the better defense. As highlighted above, the Bucks need a big wing defender. Both of these youngsters are 6-foot-6 and extremely athletic, which this team is not used to having. Whichever one is more comfortable and impactful guarding excellent scorers and athletic opponents will be more important.

“Andre Jackson is our best young player” – @TheBucksZoneIG

MarJon Beauchamp undoubtedly also has a case, as his sample size is far greater than Jackson’s, or any of the other young Bucks for that matter, but it’s certainly possible that this will be true by season’s end. I need to see how they both look during legitimate game action alongside the newly crafted Big 3, but Jackson could very well hold the mantle in a few months.
