What is Giannis Antetokounmpo’s long-term outlook after the deal?

Obviously, the long-term outlook is that Giannis Antetokounmpo will be under contract with the Bucks for the next four years, if not longer.

Looking closer into it, Giannis has made it clear time and time again that as long as the Bucks are committed to winning, he wants to remain in Milwaukee. It’s hard to envision a scenario where a rebuild takes place in Milwaukee as long as Antetokounmpo is around. Giannis and management are always on the same page in that regard. That’s why they went out and got Lillard.

As long as the Bucks remain competitive, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Antetokounmpo sign yet another extension the next time he is eligible. Thankfully, that’s not something Bucks fans have to worry about anytime soon, as the extremely loyal Antetokounmpo showcased that this is home to him by signing this deal when no one expected him to do so. Now, the focus is all on winning.

Giannis is still just 28 years old – he will be 29 in December – so he’s got plenty of good basketball left to play. The hope is that he plays all of it with the Bucks.
