The Milwaukee Bucks have been one of the league's best teams in the last decade. They won a championship just a few years ago, have a two-time MVP in Giannis Antetokounmpo, and are generally expected to be one of the better teams in the league every year.

Antetokounmpo alone has been a major victory for the franchise, as he morphed into a homegrown superstar. The Greek Freak has committed to the franchise long-term multiple times already, which isn't quite the norm for a small market team.

Antetokounmpo's presence has helped the Bucks reel in other stars, such as Jrue Holiday and now Damian Lillard. Again, the Bucks have it made right now.

But it hasn't always been that way, as they've been burned multiple times throughout the history of their franchise. With that being said, let's take a look at nine people who have effectively turned their backs on the Bucks' franchise.

9 people who gave the Bucks franchise the middle finger

9. Ray Allen

Ray Allen spent his first six and a half years as the franchise icon and marquee player for the Bucks. Allen ranks second in franchise history in threes made, fifth in VORP, and seventh in points per game.

In spite of that, he had the opportunity to return to Milwaukee at the end of his career and decided against doing so. Allen apparently preferred not playing at all over playing for the Bucks, as he ultimately didn't sign anywhere in 2014-15.

The Bucks definitely could've used his shooting and his veteran presence. And the fans always love nostalgia, especially when it comes to franchise players of yesteryear.

But it takes two to tango and Allen was disinterested in returning to Milwaukee.
