In just a few days, the Milwaukee Bucks and Indiana Pacers will kick off their first-round series at Fiserv Forum.

After all of the chaos that ensued throughout the five regular season meetings between these two basketball clubs, it seemed inevitable that they would meet in the postseason. In fact, Bucks guard Malik Beasley is on record saying, “I know we’re going to play them in the playoffs, and boy, it’s not going to be pretty for them.” Now, Beasley and the Bucks have checks to cash.

What to know ahead of Bucks and Pacers clash

The biggest storyline heading into this matchup is the health of Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is now expected to miss the beginning of the series, per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. With Antetokounmpo likely stuck on the sidelines to begin things, the Milwaukee Bucks will obviously need everyone else to up their production and shoulder their share of the workload.

Above all else, Damian Lillard and Khris Middleton will have to assume more responsibility than they have this season, given what is at stake. They will need to be on their A-games from start to finish to give Milwaukee a chance and avoid early doom. Yet, the Bucks have several role players in tow who could be key cogs in helping the team come out on top in this series. As do the Pacers.

The role players could end up being a significant part of this series, given what a particular few from each side could do for these teams. That said, let us look at two role players from the Bucks and Pacers who could have a major impact on this series.
