Lonnie Walker IV

Sticking with athletic guards who last played for the Brooklyn Nets, Lonnie Walker IV would be a solid addition to the Milwaukee Bucks roster. It's rather surprising that Walker remains unsigned this late in NBA Free Agency, as he feels like a plug-and-play piece who could fit on countless teams across the entire association.

Walker would bolster Milwaukee's wing depth further with another high-flying athlete who is capable of leaping out of the gym for a thunderous dunk at any given moment. More athletes who can help the Bucks in transition certainly would be nice. Averaging 9.8 points while shooting 35.6 percent on his career triples, Walker could give the team another second-unit scorer.

Yet, more offense isn't exactly Milwaukee's biggest concern right now. How does Walker hold up on the defensive end? Well, it's a bit frustrating. Led by his athleticism, Walker has the physical traits to be a high-end defender in this league, but he's never been able to unlock it. At 25, he still has time to grow into a decent defender, but at the moment, he's hit or miss on that end.

This late in free agency, Walker isn't looking at anything more than the veteran's minimum financially. He could take the same route that Gary Trent Jr. has with the Bucks, inking a one-year minimum deal to prove himself on a contender in hopes of cashing out the following offseason. Getting him would be yet another quality pickup in the midst of a several-month-long retooling at the wing position.
