The Milwaukee Bucks just added a new piece to their roster. Per The Athletic's Shams Charania, the team has reached an agreement to fill its last two-way spot with Jaylin Galloway, who will try to boost the team's championship hopes.

This is kind of an obscure signing since Galloway is not a well-established player, and most fans may have never heard of him. Because of that, let's dive in and try to get to know him as a player.

Analyzing Jaylin Galloway's career

Galloway turned 22 in December, so he's still a pretty young player who can have an interesting development. However, he doesn't lack professional experience. He just ended his fourth season playing in the Australian NBL, where he's shown his potential and had a strong breakout year.

He played his first game in 2020 for the Sydney Kings, but he wasn't much of a factor during his first two seasons, which seemed to be a first contact for him. However, he made a noticeable leap in the 2022-23 season and became a strong part of the second unit, playing almost 15 minutes a game and averaging 5.1 points and 1.8 rebounds.

Those weren't empty stats in a bad team. The Kings ranked first in the regular season and became champions in the playoffs, giving him some real minutes in big games.

The 2023-24 season was his first big season, though. Playing around 22 minutes a game, he averaged 10.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists, showing his growth and making a name for himself overseas.

Many believed he could have been picked in the second round of the upcoming 2024 NBA Draft, but the Bucks got ahead of schedule after the Sydney Kings got eliminated just a few days ago. But why? How is Galloway as a player? Let's talk about that next.
