The Milwaukee Bucks made a huge splash this offseason with the blockbuster trade for all-star guard Damian Lillard. In addition to acquiring Lillard, the team made a handful of other moves to put this unit in a position to contend for a championship. Including Lillard, there are four main acquisitions who have made major contributions to the Milwaukee Bucks so far during the 2023-24 season.

Malik Beasley, Cameron Payne, and Andre Jackson Jr. have all been impactful players for the Bucks thus far in 2023-24 after joining the team in the off-season, helping out in many different ways. Let's grade their performances at this point in the season.

Grading Damian Lillard's performance so far

All-star guard Damian Lillard has played in 29 of the Milwaukee Bucks' 31 games this season. He is averaging 25.7 points, 6.9 assists, and 4.5 rebounds while shooting 37.5 percent from 3-point range.

While he is still finding his groove and way with his new teammates, these numbers should continue to increase exponentially. To be honest, Lillard is a defensive drop off from Jrue Holiday, but the growth on the offensive side is remarkable to see, and he still has yet to completely mesh and gel within the Bucks' system and scheme.

That being said, he is absolutely the ISO ball handler and the scoring threat this team desperately needed and was lacking last season while making the one-two punch of him and Giannis Antetokounmpo the most lethal and dangerous in the league. The overall grade for Lillard so far comes in at a B+.
