1 Individual goal for every Milwaukee Bucks player in 2024-25
By Dalton Sell
The 2024-25 NBA season is on the horizon, and the Milwaukee Bucks should be out for blood after a disappointing showing last year.
Obviously, the ultimate goal for the Bucks and every player on it is to win the championship, but that shouldn't stop players from achieving individual goals along the way. Some will be loftier than others, but let us highlight one individual goal for every Milwaukee Bucks player in 2024-25.
AJ Johnson - Crack the rotation
As a 19-year-old rookie, it's going to be tough for AJ Johnson to crack Milwaukee's veteran rotation. Yet, that should not stop the guard from trying. If he impresses with his athleticism, shot-making and energetic nature in practice, the team might have to take a closer look at him when piecing together the rotation, and he could become a contributor sooner rather than later.
Tyler Smith - Crack the rotation
Pretty much everything that was just said about Johnson can be said about fellow rookie Tyler Smith. The 19-year-old will have a tough time getting involved in the rotation right away, but if he works hard and makes waves in practice, he could command attention. An uber-athletic, 6-foot-11 big man could help the Milwaukee Bucks a ton, but Smith has to show that he's ready for the bright lights.
MarJon Beauchamp - Finally earn his keep
This is a make-or-break season for third-year wing MarJon Beauchamp. He hasn't been able to break into the rotation during his first two years after the Bucks used a first-round pick to get him, and if the guard fails to crack the rotation again, it could spell trouble for his future. If Beauchamp takes strides on both sides of the ball, he could finally become the rotational piece many believed he could be.
