It feels like just yesterday that Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo was lacing up his first signature shoe with Nike.

In reality, they came out in 2019, and new models have been coming out yearly ever since. Now, the sixth installment of the Greek Freak's main shoe line is on the horizon, with the very first leaked look coming on Tuesday by Instagram user @bbb_ceo.

On the surface, these don't look all too different from the Nike Zoom Freak 5s, which Antetokounmpo has been sporting this season, outside of a few tweaks. As someone who was a fan of the Freak 5s, that's not really a bad thing for this writer.

It's always hard to judge a sneaker based on the first-look photos, given that they are not always the best images quality-wise. Once the official images come out with new angles and colorways, it will be easier to judge for many.

It's currently unknown when these new shoes will hit the shelves or when Antetokounmpo will have them on feet. Typically, players break out new shoes when the NBA Playoffs begin to get as many pairs of eyes on them as possible. That is precisely what Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic is set to do with the "Jordan Luka 3," which were officially revealed recently.

Antetokounmpo's status for the Milwaukee Bucks' first round matchup against the Indiana Pacers is currently unknown, as he's dealing with a calf strain. If he returns at any point in the series, it may be with these new Zoom Freaks on feet. Fingers crossed that he heals and has a chance to get back on the floor for the Milwaukee Bucks soon, no matter which Zoom Freaks he has on.

It is still wild to think about how Antetokounmpo is already on his sixth signature shoe and has three shoes in his takedown line, the "Giannis Immortality," to go along with that. It's been a hectic ride thus far, and let's hope for many more years and many more shoes.
