1. Alex Caruso

Caruso is entering the final year of his contract and could become available this summer. The Bulls resisted trading him at the deadline, despite some massive offers. Was that their chance to maximize their return? Caruso will want a significant raise and the Bulls need to retool their roster to make paying him worthwhile.

The Bucks desperately need a perimeter stopper capable of spacing the floor. Caruso’s high basketball IQ and ability to play off star talent make him a near-perfect fit. He shot 40.8 percent from 3-point range last season and will make an impact on both ends of the floor. Convincing the Bulls to trade him won’t be easy, but Milwaukee should try.

Caruso won a championship with the Lakers in 2020 but has played in just ten playoff games since. He may be eager to join a contender and could take things to another level in Milwaukee. His well-rounded game could be just what the Bucks need to make a deep playoff run in 2025.

The Milwaukee Bucks must upgrade and find a sleeper that makes a massive impact. They will search for minimum options in free agency and should explore the trade market for undervalued players. Can the franchise return to title contention? Only if they land another difference-maker this summer, but the NBA’s new spending limits will make things difficult.
