3 Milwaukee Bucks who need to have a strong 2024
By Corey Moen
2- Khris Middleton
Throughout the first quarter half of the season, Khris Middleton has looked like his old self.
Middleton's role has been solidified as the No. 3 guy on the Bucks. His knee injuries, which gave him a lot of problems last season, have been non-existent for the most part in the 2023-24 campaign.
But, his health will be something that has to be monitored as the season goes on, and the games become more important. But so far, it has been a refreshing sight to see the old Khris Middleton once again.
Middleton has played in almost more games this year (30) than last year (33) and has nearly exceeded his mark in scoring (14.6 this season) and 15.1 last season while shooting nearly 40 percent from three.
Damian Lillard has replaced Khris Middleton as the go-to guy in the fourth quarter, but this is a good problem for Milwaukee to have because with the defenses keying in on Lillard late, this opens up an opportunity for Middleton to take and make big-time shots and throw Giannis Antetokounmpo in there and this team will be formidable as they make their playoff push to lock up a top seed in the Eastern Conference.
