Doc Rivers

While he certainly made some head-scratching decisions that cannot be defended, Doc Rivers was thrown into a hectic situation when he agreed to be Milwaukee's head coach in January. Dealing with an injury-riddled and awkwardly put-together roster, a group with very little chemistry and players he had no experience working with, Doc Rivers tried his hardest to put the pieces together.

In year two, things should be better. Newcomers like Wright and Prince give the Bucks an added lift on the defensive end that last year's roster lacked, Damian Lillard could actually workout this year and will have more chemistry with his teammates, and Rivers will have had the chance to work with his players through an entire preseason and training camp. On paper, it all sounds excellent.

Yet, Rivers is known to have a few slip-ups during his days as a coach. It's valid to criticize some of the decisions he made when putting together his rotations this past season, and one can only hope that he has learned from that. If some of these issues carry over into his first full season as Milwaukee's head coach, problems could arise sooner rather than later.

He won't be playing, but Doc Rivers' decision-making will be vital in helping the Milwaukee Bucks win an NBA Championship.
