2. Giannis scores Bucks-record 64 points against Pacers (December 13)

For 17 years, Michael Redd's 57-point performance from 2006 was the most points ever scored in a game by a Milwaukee Buck. In 2021, Giannis told Redd, "One day I'm going to break your record", and sure enough, just a couple weeks ago he did.

After scoring 54 points against the Pacers about a month earlier, Giannis erupted for 64 against them to set the new franchise record. He made 20-of-28 field goals and a remarkable 24-of-32 free throws. The 32 free throw attempts are the most ever for a Bucks player in a game and the sixth-most in a game all-time.

In the fourth quarter alone, Giannis scored 26 points and shot 20 free throws, and he finished with 43 points in the second half. It was a remarkable performance that no Bucks fan will soon forget, and it's a scoring record that could hold up for many years to come. The only thing Giannis couldn't do that night was secure the game ball.

1. Bucks trade for Damian Lillard (September 27)

Every hardcore Bucks fan will always remember where they were and what they were doing when they heard the news that Damian Lillard was being traded to the Bucks. It was a normal Wednesday afternoon when all of a sudden the news broke and sent the NBA world into anarchy.

The Bucks did the thing that fans had dreamed of for years... they paired Giannis Antetokounmpo with another true superstar. It was painful to lose Jrue Holiday, but it was a home run trade for Milwaukee and one that drastically raised their ceiling. Fans immediately bought Damian Lillard jerseys, had a parade to welcome him to the city, and the hype for the upcoming season was multiplied by 100.

It's a move that Bucks fans hope brings them another title come June.
