Ranking each month of the Bucks' 2024-25 schedule by difficulty
The Bucks' most difficult month(s)
March/April
Similar to last season, the toughest part of the Milwaukee Bucks' schedule comes at the end. The final month and a half of the season will be a big test for Milwaukee as they ramp up for the playoffs.
From March 1 until April 11, a whopping 19 of the Bucks' 21 games come against teams that had a winning record last season. They have a plethora of difficult opponents both at home (Mavericks, Magic, Cavaliers, Lakers, Pacers, Thunder, Knicks, Suns, Timberwolves, and Pelicans) and on the road (Mavericks, Pacers, Lakers, Warriors, Kings, Suns, Nuggets, Sixers, and Heat).
There are also several back-to-backs. The Bucks have a back-to-back against the Magic and Cavaliers in early March, another against the Pacers and Thunder in mid-March and a third against the Timberwolves and Pelicans in April. The only bright spot is that all of these back-to-backs come at home.
There is a brutal stretch from March 8 to March 16, where Milwaukee has six games in nine days that come against the Magic, Cavaliers, Pacers, Lakers, Pacers again and Thunder.
The only real break the Milwaukee Bucks get in the final month and a half is the final two games of the season when they face the Pistons in back-to-back games.
March and April will test the Bucks and force them to get into playoff form early. They will likely be fighting to hold onto a seed near the top of the Eastern Conference at this time, and they will need to earn it with the number of difficult games they'll face during the latter portion of the schedule.
But, as we've already seen, if the Bucks are healthy and playing near their best, they can beat anyone.
