New York Knicks - Alec Burks

No, Bucks fans, OG Anunoby will not be declining his $18 million player option to sign a minimum deal with Milwaukee. Fans need to set their sights on someone more realistic when looking at players from the New York Knicks, and one player who fits the mold is Alec Burks.

Immediately, Burks would give the Bucks another 6-foot-6 wing, which is already a positive. However, he also could be an offensive sparkplug off of the bench. Averaging 10.8 points while knocking down 38.3 percent of his triples in his career, he can put points on the board from everywhere on the floor, but especially from behind the arc.

The Bucks could use another shot-creator off of the bench to prevent the flow of their offense from going stagnant when the starters go out, something they are used to over the past few years. He and Bobby Portis could be a nice one-two punch in that regard. Burks won't light things up on defense, but he can make plays on that end here and there.

Burks showed how valuable he could be in the NBA Playoffs, stepping up for a beat-up Knicks team by averaging 14.8 points while shooting 42.9 percent from deep. Another reserve capable of putting up numbers like that outside of Bobby Portis could make a world of difference for Milwaukee. If Burks is willing to listen, the Milwaukee Bucks must call.
