Bigger “big men”

It might be time for a block party.

Brook Lopez is listed at 7-foot-1. Indiana’s projected starting center is Myles Turner 6-foot-10. Pascal Siakam is Indiana’s starting power forward. He is listed at 6-foot-8.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is close to 7 feet tall. Bobby Portis is 6-foot-10. The Bucks are known as a team of length and height. That length and height need to be on display against Indiana.

If Milwaukee could somehow exploit this height advantage, it could go a long way in a playoff series.

Height and length can be a powerful weapon. If Indiana has a weakness, it is that they are not the strongest rebounding team. In fact, they finished 28th overall in team rebounding at a mere 41.5 rebounds a game. Milwaukee has an advantage here. They averaged 44.2 rebounds a game.

Again, the not-so-secret weapon is a pretty obvious one: defense. Whatever team can get stops, create turnovers and get blocked shots is going to win this one.

However this series plays out, it'll be the 3-point shooting and rebounding that will determine the outcome. Then again, that is usually how these games play out anyway.
