No. 1 - When will Khris Middleton be back?

The injury bug is one demon the Milwaukee Bucks have not been able to exorcise over these past few seasons, especially in the NBA Playoffs. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard both spent time on the sidelines last season due to injuries, but Khris Middleton is the Milwaukee Buck who has been consistently dealing with freak issues in recent memory.

Currently, Middleton is recovering from duel offseason ankle surgeries, and a timetable for his return has been anything but clear. Initially, coach Doc Rivers made it sound like Middleton might be able to return in the preseason for a game or two. Then, he was hopeful Middleton would be ready by the first game of the regular season. Now, there is still no concrete timetable.

The Milwaukee Bucks would undoubtedly rather Middleton take his time and miss games now rather than later to get fully healthy. They need the forward to be their third star behind Antetokounmpo and Lillard to reach their championship goal. As Middleton showed in last season's playoffs, he still has a good amount of fuel left in the tank, but he just needs to be healthy to showcase it.

Hopefully the Milwaukee Bucks deliver some clarity on Middleton's injury soon. Though they primarily need him for the playoffs, it would still be great for him to build chemistry - something this roster was lacking last season - before they get to the big stage.
