No. 2 Signing Taurean Prince

Since P.J. Tucker departed Milwaukee following the 2021 championship win, the Milwaukee Bucks have struggled to find a forward that can have the same impact on both ends of the floor. Taurean Prince looks like he could be that player, as the 37.6 percent career shooter from deep signed on a minimum deal and gives the Bucks great versatility and much-needed wing defense.

He teams up with his former Lakers coach Darvin Ham, the coach he played in 78 regular season games under in Los Angeles last season. Prince put up 8.9 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists on splits of .442/.396/.735, which are really good splits. The forward comes to Milwaukee with high expectations in place.

With Khris Middleton likely to miss games as the Bucks try not to overexert him following surgery, Prince could slot in at the small forward position in the starting lineup or feature as the power forward with Giannis Antetokounmpo at the center position.

The big thing the Bucks needed was defensive help at the wing position and versatility. Jae Crowder failed to do that over the past two seasons, but Taurean Prince directly addresses those problems and is a great pickup for the Bucks on a minimum.
