It’s been quite an eventful week considering the Bucks haven’t played a single game. Well, most of them haven’t. The last week has brought All-Star Events, a COMPLETELY INSANE HUGE TRADE, and a potential buy-out.

Of course we still learned a few things this week (especially about how willing the Bucks are to do what it takes to win games and prepare for the future) and the Bucks do have four games in this upcoming week, so a lot of this BTBP Weekly Roundup will be familiar.

The day is different though. This is a very special edition of the BTBP Weekly Roundup coming to you on Friday instead of Thursday, because I wanted to be able to cover the game-changing trade the Bucks pulled off on deadline day (which happened to be Thursday) and because I like breaking the rules. Next week I’ll be back at my regular time.

Let’s get down to it and go through the last week, starting with the aforementioned trade. After that we will cover some All-Star festivities.

I’m just going to cover the ones involving Bucks’ players (this is the Behind the Buck Pass Weekly Roundup after all) but fellow BTBP writer Jeff Herrmann compiled a list of the five best plays from the All-Star game (which sadly included exactly zero Milwaukee Bucks) for your viewing pleasure.

Then we’ll finish with the apparent departure of one troubled Buck along with the usual lessons learned and look ahead to the next week.
