With NBA Free Agency drawing ever nearer, the Milwaukee Bucks have big questions to answer at center. What sort of options are available to them?

As NBA Free Agency approaches with the salary cap set to reach record heights heading into the 2016-17 season, there are a number of very interesting center options about to hit the open market.

Regardless of what type of talent level a team is looking for this summer, there’s going to be a center out there who could fit the bill for them.

With the Milwaukee Bucks facing a whole host of major question marks over their future direction at the center spot, their timing couldn’t be much better too.

More from Bucks News

Unlike last year, this summer’s class of free agent centers may not have the star power of players like Marc Gasol and DeAndre Jordan who also seem to be attainable, but it includes a group of strong starters who can thrive in a complementary role in the middle.

If the Bucks are looking to move away from Greg Monroe, there are a whole host of options open to them in terms of low usage, defensively solid big men. If they’re lucky and look in the right places, they may even have the opportunity to grab a player on a value deal in a hyper-inflated market who could become a part of their long-term plans.

Generally this list is limited to players who would seem to fit a realistic price point for the Bucks, although there is a notable exception thrown into the mix thanks to persistent rumors.

That still leaves us with many worthwhile options to explore. We discussed the available center talent outlined here and some more names in detail on one of last week’s episodes of the Win In 6 Podcast, but let’s go one step further now.

Let’s take a closer look at some of the the players at the three spot who will be fielding contract offers this summer.
