On the night where Khris Middleton made his season debut, the Milwaukee Bucks came away with a devastating loss against the Miami Heat last night, losing 106-88.
Out of the gate, the Bucks were in a hole as the Heat got off to a fast start, leading 17-2 at the midway mark of the first quarter. Unfortunately, that set the tone for the rest of the night for the Bucks.

Forced to play catch up for the rest of the night, the Bucks’ offense started to show signs of life in the second quarter, scoring 27 points on 52 percent shooting from the field and hitting 4-of-5 from deep.
However, they wouldn’t gain much ground as the Heat maintained their efficiency on the offensive end and outscored the Bucks by two points on the quarter. That continued into the second half before things turned for the worse as the Bucks took a very big hit with the injury to Jabari Parker midway through the third quarter.
From there, the Bucks spiraled, getting down to as many as 20 points before putting on a more respectable effort to close out the game. While the 11th loss over the last 13 games clearly stings, there’s obviously more at stake for the Bucks than turning their season around with the outlook of Parker’s injury.
So without further ado, let’s dive deeper into what worked and what didn’t work last night for the Bucks.
