The Milwaukee Bucks can get up to .500 with a big win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night.

The March Madness tournament might be getting all the headlines right now, but the Milwaukee Bucks are more focused on the NBA Playoffs than the NCAA equivalent. Milwaukee is in sole possession of the seventh seed in the East after winning against the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night in a nationally-televised game.

The Bucks have another match-up against a Los Angeles team at Staples Center on Friday night, but instead of the Clippers it’s the Los Angles Lakers who the Bucks will have to play. The Lakers are openly and obviously tanking at the moment after ruling out Timofey Mozgov and Luol Deng for the rest of the season for no real reason.

Still, Milwaukee is 0-1 against L.A. so far this season after the Lakers beat the Bucks in Milwaukee back in February. It’s classic Bucks to sweep the Clippers and lose out to the tanking Lakers, although a win against this team would help cement Milwaukee’s seventh spot.

Los Angeles is 1-11 in their last 12 games.  The Lakers players still want to win, but without their veterans around it sure seems like the organization isn’t opposed to losing out for the rest of the season to protect that draft pick the Bucks could’ve had when the team elected to trade for Michael Carter-Williams instead.

Even with L.A. trying to lose, we’ll look at major keys for both teams to come away with some sort of victory on Friday night. Afterwards it’s time to check out a Laker to watch, and make some score predictions about the game.
