The Milwaukee Bucks finally come home on Friday when the team takes on the Atlanta Hawks in Milwaukee.

The Milwaukee Bucks are homebound at last. The Bucks just wrapped up a six-game road trip on the West Coast. Thanks to some strong performances on the road, Milwaukee is now sitting in sixth place in the Eastern Conference.

Unbelievably, Milwaukee could move even farther up than that. The Atlanta Hawks are currently fifth in the East, and they’re visiting the Bucks on Friday night. Atlanta is just one game ahead of the Bucks, meaning a Milwaukee victory would tie the teams in record.

The Bucks would need to gain a game on the Hawks to actually claim the fifth seed though, as Atlanta is 3-0 against the Bucks thus far this season. Although the Hawks have had great success against Milwaukee, it looks like Paul Millsap will miss the game on Friday.

More from Bucks News

Millsap is undoubtedly the Hawks best player since Al Horford split for literally greener pastures in Boston, and the Hawks are 0-6 in games without Millsap this season. If that sounds like a trap game, it’s because this definitely is one.

Still, Milwaukee has been a team that plays with lots of confidence lately, and the Hawks really rely on Millsap. Even if the Bucks can’t take sole possession of the fifth seed, a win here makes it all the more likely that they get some sort of playoff spot.

To see how either the Bucks or the Hawks could achieve victory on Friday night, we’ll look at major keys for both clubs. Then it’s time to highlight a Hawk to watch and make some score predictions on the game.
