Every morning, Behind the Buck Pass brings you the reading material you need before you start your day at the office. We bring you the morning’s Daily Dimes — Milwaukee Bucks Links from across the web to get you ready for the day.

It’s a great day to be a basketball fan and for LeBron James it’s a great day to be a member of the Cleveland Heat. Wait, is it the Cavaliers? How the heck am I supposed to keep the LeBron saga straight?

Especially when James is more confused than fans wondering what type of magic marker his used this off-season to make his receding hairline disappear.

I’ll tell you what, Bron Bron has a great grasp of the Miami offense. I’m surprised he didn’t give Chris Bosh an double eye dagger on the way back on offense after he missed that baseline jumper.

Maybe that’s a sign that the two kissed and made up in Brazil? The home of peace, love and Varejao fros.

You know what they say. What happens in Rio, Stays in Rio — unless it’s on national TV and a snarky Bucks Blogger grabs hold of it.

Enough with the weekend hangover.

Let’s get to it with your Monday Daily Dimes.

— Let’s start with Saturday’s preseason matchup with the Bulls. A lot of good things happened for the Bucks at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. It was another successful MACC game for the Bucks and local organization helping fight childhood cancer. It was also an interesting night on the hardwood.

And there were some interesting people in the stands.

In fact, it was a de facto Pistons reunion at the Bradley. Former Pistons, Bulls and 76ers head coach Doug Collins was in the stands. According to Jeremy Schmidt at Bucksketball.com, former Pistons GM Joe Dumars was also in attendance and hanging with his former assistant GM John Hammond.

So — When doe Dumars sign on the dotted line as an advisor? Hopefully it isn’t for the same amount of money he gave former Bucks forward Charlie Villanueva..

— Vice Sports has returned with another profile of Giannis Antetokounmpo. This time we get to see what the Greek Freak has done this offseason to get better for year two, what it meant to play against Kevin Durant, and that he likes Blueberries and Strawberries in his smoothies.

— Milwaukee Journal Sentinel beat writer Charles Gardner has brought up a good point. If the Bucks want to show any type of improvement this season, they need to get better at rebounding.

"“I think we’re older, more experienced,” Henson said. “Especially as big guys, that plays a big part in this league, in my opinion.“I think it’s a matter of figuring things out. I think Larry and I are starting to get the hang of it. Hopefully I can get on board, too. It’s good to have rebounders and seal up that aspect of the game, because that is important.”If Antetokounmpo, Sanders and Henson are in the game at the same time, the Bucks can put out an athletic front line with three 6-11 players."

— Podium Game of the HP Network has released their Central Division preview podcast. It’s a great listen and insight on the Bulls, Cavs, Pistons and Bucks. The conversation on Milwaukee begins at the 36:47 mark. Topics include whether Jabari Parker is the best player in this class, Where Brandon Knight fits in the future plans, If Kendall Marshall can be more than just a distributor, and much more.

— So, we covered the whole Ray Allen being contacted by Milwaukee thing yesterday. As much of a marketing push that was, we know that the Wizards would really love Allen’s shooting touch to fill in for injured shooting guard Bradley Beal. The truth though is that the Wiz really have no chance at his services. So how could they possibly fill the void. Grantland.com’s Zach Lowe says it’s more likely that the Wizards sign a veteran to the league minimum once preseason cuts are made. Still, one Buck in particular might be expendable for a cheap price.

Would the Bucks depart with the recently acquired small forward? For the right price. There is plenty of depth at small forward, especially if Jason Kidd decides to start Jabari Parker there.

For the Road

My dream was never to make it to the NBA or to star in college basketball. All I’ve ever wanted in this world was to just be a Rec League hero. Then Jason Williams dropped this highlight tape from the Orlando Pro-Am.

The 12-year NBA vet is now turning guys that play the game for the love of it in dust.

He was drafted in 1998 people. The dude is 38 years old. He hasn’t played in the league in four seasons.

My dreams are dissolved now.
