Kendall Marshall will lead the Bucks in Assists

It seems like Marshall still has to prove to head coach Jason Kidd that he can handle point guard duties full time, but at the end of the day, I don’t see how Marshall doesn’t find major minutes just to make Jabari Parker, Larry Sanders and Giannis Antetokounmpo better.

Brandon Knight might have the better upside, and without a doubt he’s a better scorer.

Yet it’s Marshall that has proved he can find Larry Sanders on the pick and roll consistently. He has no problem dishing to Jabari Parker or Khris Middleton out on the perimeter. If Marshall reminds us of anyone, it should be Kidd. Players used to call the future hall of famer Ason, because he has no J.

Marshall is in the same boat and could definitely learn that aspect of the game in the aspect that players will feel they don’t need to defend him.

Marshall though has improved his long range shooting and might see more playing time because of it.
