Adam: It’s been a really rough season for the Knicks, and I’m sure after last season that Bucks fans will empathize with you. Describe what it’s been like to watch this Knicks team. Are they the worst in franchise history?

Richard: It’s been awful. It’s got to the point where I feel like a fool for wasting my time watching games when I could be binge watching some show I never got around to viewing or even just reading a book or something.

Knick fans knew it was going to be a difficult season, but no one expected things to be this bad. I wasn’t preparing for the Knicks to tank this year. I thought they’d find some moderate success working out nuances of triangle system and building productive habits on their way to next season but this has been an utter disaster.

New Yorkers have always had a hard time accepting rebuilding movements, but there’s no other recourse other than to lose as many games as possible now.

The worst Knicks team ever (1962-63) only won 21 games and I honestly don’t see this team coming close to that, so it’s starting to look like a safe bet this will be the worst team ever. Still because of all the off-court drama of the “Starbury” era’s 2007-08 team, I do typically cite that year as the most difficult one to watch.

At least with this team we know that about 85% of the guys on the court now won’t be here a minute after the season ends.
