Adam: To be fair to Derek Fisher he hasn’t had a lot to work with, but is he showing anything to indicate that with better talent he’s capable of being a good coach in the NBA?

Richard: Fisher has obviously been dealt a difficult hand so very few Knick fans consider him the problem. That said, I honestly can’t say I’ve seen anything that’s impressed me thus far other than his excellent personal relationship to Phil Jackson.

That probably doesn’t sound like an encouraging endorsement but I refuse to judge him on this season alone. It’s only fair to see what he can do after he has a team he knows are going to be his guys moving forward.
