Welcome to Opposition Intel!

Following back-to-back losses against Toronto and Utah, and heading into their own back-to-back that will see them face the defending champion San Antonio Spurs on Sunday, it’s become vitally important for the Milwaukee Bucks that they put in a strong showing on Saturday against the Detroit Pistons.

Although, the Bucks haven’t necessarily been terrible in their last two, they’ve been narrowly beaten on both occasions, and there can be little doubt that they will need to up their game if they plan on beating the Josh Smith-less Pistons.

7-3 in their last ten games, and 12-3 since waiving their one time highest paid player, Stan Van Gundy’s Pistons have started to take shape, and now chasing down a Playoff spot, are no joke any more.

Ahead of the action, we spoke to Tim Thielke.

In his own words, Tim “is a huge Pistons fan who enjoys sharing his thoughts with a bunch of strangers on the internet”. He’s currently doing just that over at the highly esteemed PistonPowered too, a sister site of ours on the FanSided network.

Let’s take a look at what he had to say.
