Life must be great in Houston. Their formula for success goes like this: give it to Harden, draw a generous foul, chant MVP, play bad defense, repeat.
Harden shot two more free throws (17) than the entire Milwaukee Bucks team on his way to a game-high 33 points.
Giannis played the second consecutive best game of his career setting a new career-high of 27 points. He added 15 rebounds, 4 assists, and a block on James Harden. Playing the center position in the Bucks zone for most of the fourth quarter he fearlessly battled Houston’s big men, claiming his share of jump balls.
The Bucks hit more field goals than Houston (48-41), but were undone by Houston’s barrage of first half three point shooting. The Rockets made ten first half threes, including 3-3 from Josh Smith…nonsense.
Credit the Bucks with hanging around Houston long enough to make it interesting down the stretch, but tonight the Bucks came up just short. The loss ends Milwaukee’s five-game winning streak, and the will Bucks fall to 27-23.
