Having taken a tough loss on the road in Houston on Friday, it was back to business for the Milwaukee Bucks last night.
The five-game winning streak that was built on defense, was killed in a performance that saw Milwaukee allow the three-point loving Rockets to put up 117 points. As a result, the Bucks next game up was alway going to be about sending a statement.
After watching the Rockets pick his defense apart on Friday, Kidd spoke of Harden saying:
"We did everything we could. We threw multiple bodies at him and gave him different looks. He’s just patient, and he can do it all … he’s one of the best players in the world."
Luckily for Milwaukee, Boston don’t have a player who could be classed as one of the world’s best. That allowed the Bucks to get back into their defensive rhythm and continue to show some nice new wrinkles offensively in the BMO Harris Bradley Center last night.
Giannis Antetokounmpo came in off the back of setting new career highs in consecutive games, and put in another strong showing, while after a brief dip in form Brandon Knight was also back to his dominant best.
