So, the Milwaukee Bucks trade deadline fireworks have left me asking myself just one question.
Is Brandon Knight a point guard or a shooting guard? I mean he definitely plays better in this system off the ball, but in some ways does that not make him more of a true facilitator by doing what his teammates need to play to their best?
Wait…you’re saying I never have to have that conversation again…what is there to talk about now?
I suppose I’ll make do with a former Rookie of the Year, a Plumlee (they’re a hot commodity) and a promising young Canadian.
In all seriousness, John Hammond and the Milwaukee Bucks made a big splash today. Brandon Knight, arguably the team’s best player based on current ability and their leading scorer this season is now a member of the Phoenix Suns.
In exchange, Hammond picked up Michael Carter Williams, Miles Plumlee and Tyler Ennis, as the Young Bucks continue to get younger and more athletic.
Just because it was a deal that made headlines doesn’t necessarily make it the right one though.
Let’s dig a little deeper to get a handle on just how this deal turned out for Milwaukee.
