The centerpiece of the Bucks’ yield is going to be widely reported as Michael Carter-Williams, and why wouldn’t it be?

Carter-Williams is a former Rookie of the Year having made a colossal impact upon entering the league last season. Taken with the 11th pick out of Syracuse in 2013, MCW wasted little time in getting to grips with life in the NBA.

I suppose being drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers, and instantly being given a team to run will do that for you though.

Saying that, this isn’t the first time that talk of Carter Williams being traded has emerged, as this awkward Draft night interview proved to be a precursor of things to come.

Why did Philadelphia want to trade him though?

It’s simple, the 23-year-old is still really raw. He has problems with controlling tempo, turns the ball over and struggles with his shot.

The joys of that are that they are all issues that can be ironed out in time though. Carter-Williams has defensive fundamentals that are much harder to teach, along with exceptional length that simply can’t be bought.

It’s said that Jason Kidd has long been a fan of his, and in Kidd’s system Bucks fans should get to watch MCW transform into a walking triple-double threat.
