Reactions: The Bad

  • Bucks fans know O.J. Mayo by now. He can turn a game around with his instant offense, and can equally shoot his team out of it when he’s off his game. Last night was somewhere in between the two, and against a better team some of Mayo’s bricks may have proven more costly.
  • This isn’t as much a negative as a minor disappointment. With Tyler Ennis getting some run, it would have been nice to see Miles Plumlee take to the floor for his Bucks debut too. Particularly with Milwaukee still shorthanded in terms of big men, Plumlee could probably have made an impact.
  • It’s not unusual for teams to look a little rusty after the All-Star break and the Bucks were undoubtedly no exception to that. The Bucks only shot 42.9 percent from the field, and that was even boosted by a much improved second half. As long as it doesn’t become a habit, the Bucks should have no reason to fear though.
