Milwaukee Bucks Grades: Bench

John Henson, C-

1 Points| 0-2 FG | 1-2 FT | 3 REB | 0 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK |

Just when all things were pointing toward a return to the starting lineup he has a game like this. Henson didn’t rebound well, didn’t shoot well, and didn’t defend well. Three strikes and you’re out, big man. Kidd only played Henson for nine minutes.

Jerryd Bayless, B-

9 Points | 3-6 FG | 2-2 FT | 3 REB | 0 AST | 1 STL | 0 BLK |

Bayless scored seven straight second quarter points on a combination of a three-pointer, a post-jumper, and an outside jumper. Unfortunately those were the only shots that he made. He had a tough third quarter stretch where he committed back-t0-back bad turnovers and seemingly wanted to blame teammates rather than himself for the mistakes. That’s the bad energy this Buck’s team has worked so hard to keep away from the team. This isn’t a common thing from Bayless, mind you.

Tyler Ennis, B-

9 Points | 4-9 FG | 0-0 FT | 0 REB | 1 AST | 2 STL | 0 BLK |

For the second straight game Ennis came off the bench to score a three pointer immediately. He didn’t fall in love with the shot like he did last night and he showed nice restraint despite having open opportunities. He followed up that play with a steal, and an easy layup. His play struggled in the second half, but that flash of brilliance in the second quarter solidified the sentiment that Ennis could be the Buck’s PG of the future should Carter-Williams not work out. Seriously.

Ersan Ilyasova, B

13 Points | 5-13 FG | 0-1 FT | 10 REB | 1 AST | 1 STL | 0 BLK |

Ilyasova’s game is defined by his three point shooting–everything depends on it. Tonight Ilyasova shot 3-5 from deep while grabbing ten rebounds with four offensive rebounds. It’s hard to understand the reasoning why he was sent to the bench in favor of Dudley. The only conclusion that I can come to is that the bench needs a boost and Ilyasova packs much more of a punch than Dudley.
