Reactions: The Bad

  • On the positive side the Bucks got a win. On the negative side–they needed a stunning shooting display from Ersan Ilyasova to get it done. The Bucks hemorrhaged their massive nineteen point first quarter advantage little by little, quarter by quarter until the game came down to a George Hill potential game-tying three pointer. In an ideal world you would like to see the Bucks takes their huge advantage and put the game out of reach–leaving no chance for the feisty Pacers.
  • The Bucks were severely out-rebounded, 42-30 and 13-6 on the offensive glass. Luis Scola (a tagged Bucks’ killer) led the way for the Pacers with nine (including six offensive). The Buck’s starters did a fair job hauling in their share of rebounds (24), but the bench let down the team yet again–this time on the boards. The bench totaled just six rebounds while the Pacer’s bench produced 18. There’s many reasons the Bucks gave up their lead–poor shooting, turnovers, etc. But rebounding, again, was the Buck’s biggest problem.
