A lot of people will say Karl Towns has supplanted Okafor at the top of the draft, but if the Knicks do indeed maintain the first overall pick, Okafor is a much better fit. The Knicks have displayed a slavish devotion to resurrecting the mythical Triangle Offense, so they’ll take the big man that’s best for that system. That would be Okafor and his muscle, over Towns and his athletics.
