If Saturday’s game ends in defeat and a series sweep, do you feel it would have any effect on how Milwaukee’s season is viewed as a whole?
AMcG: It would be a bit of a disappointment as they definitely had the opportunity to be a bigger factor in this series, but it doesn’t change just how incredible Milwaukee’s turnaround has been this season.
TW: I didn’t even think the Bucks would make the playoffs. Considering the level Derrick Rose has been at for two of the three games so far, it’s unrealistic to expect a motivated, experienced Bulls team to lose much, if at all, to the Young Bucks. Kidd and his team deserves props for just making it this far, a sweep doesn’t change that at all.
JT: Not at all. My expectations for the series and the season as a whole, were low (I thought they’d win 29 games) and the fact that were seeing relevant playoff basketball from the Bucks is truly beyond belief to me. It’s been a satisfying turnaround season for the franchise and a good first step on the right direction.
BA: I don’t think it should change anything as again, no one expected them to be here, let alone winning this series. But I think it leaves a bad taste in the mouths of our young guys and inspires them to work hard over the summer.
