Bismack Biyombo – Center

Hibbert, Lopez, Jordan and Monroe are all great options at center, but they’re also pretty pricey. Bismack Biyombo is not, despite having a very productive season with the Charlotte Hornets last year. Biyombo may end up somewhere else due to Charlotte’s rough cap situation, and if Milwaukee can steal him away from the Hornets they should try to do so.

He may not be as good right now as some of the other centers on this list, but Biyombo is only 22. He would fit in well with the rest of the Young Bucks, and could grow with Jabari Parker, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and Michael Carter-Williams.

Although his points per 100 possessions and free throw percentages aren’t great, his rebounds per 100 and both his offensive and defensive rating are really good. His 4.1 blocks per 100 leads all centers I’ve listed so far, so any combination of he and John Henson would result in a lot of swats for the Bucks.

He may still be more raw talent than established center, but that’s the whole point of focusing on development rather than proven skill. Biyombo would get better just as the rest of the Bucks have been and will continue to do, and he wouldn’t break the bank to sign, either. Don’t be surprised if Milwaukee tenders him an offer this offseason, depending who the team selects in the draft.
