After Patty Mills’ star showing in the Finals last year, and Matthew Dellavedova showing out for Cleveland in this year’s series, it’s become perfectly clear that if you want to make a deep run, you need a guy from St. Mary’s on the roster.

In an attempt to follow that trend, the Bucks took a look at Waldow, a 6’11” center from the small school in California.

Waldow doesn’t feature on many draft boards, meaning that he could potentially be a bit of a reach, even with a second round pick, but his averages of over 19 points and nine rebounds per game mean that he’s at least worth a look.

Who knows, maybe the Bucks will be so impressed that they feel he’s their man in round two, and even if they don’t he could be a guy to put a call into for Summer League.
