Rebounding
Okay, so triple-double threat may be a bit of a reach, but Vasquez is a better rebounder than you’d probably imagine, and he has indeed managed triple-doubles in both college and the NBA.
Vasquez’s 2.6 rebounds per game for his NBA career isn’t quite an accurate representation of how active the 6’6″ South American can be on the glass.
Per 36 minutes his average jumps up to 3.9, and that’s supported by his play in New Orleans a couple of years ago.
In Vasquez’s only full season as a starter, he averaged 34 minutes per game in 78 starts, and chalked up 4.3 rebounds to go with that. A solid return for a guard by anyone’s measure.
