Miami Heat

Miami Receives: John Henson

Milwaukee Receives: Josh McRoberts

Why this trade makes sense for Miami: The Heat don’t have any good option at backup center behind Hassan Whiteside besides the ancient Chris Anderson, so this trade gives them instant depth at that position should Whiteside run into some more trouble or injury. They also shed some salary, getting them closer to avoiding the luxury tax.

Why this trade makes sense for Milwaukee: McBob can play minutes at small or power forward and is a capable shooter, so he would be a great fit in Milwaukee. Tony Ludwig went more in-depth on him here, but he’d just be a great combo forward to bring off of the bench, which is exactly what the Bucks need right now.
