#9. Charlotte Hornets – 10/29/2014, Time Warner Cable Arena
Keeping a nice chronological theme to this for the time being, Parker continued to show out when the opening night of the regular season rolled around. The Bucks kicked their campaign off on the road in Charlotte to the re-branded Hornets, in what would effectively be Parker’s true debut.
The rookie played 37 minutes in a game where he wasn’t necessarily as actively involved as he would be over the coming weeks. Still, even when only his feeling his way into life in the NBA, Parker illustrated his skills.
Grabbing a rebound off a missed Charlotte shot, Parker bounded down court with the ball in his hands in the type of one-man fastbreak that the likes of LeBron James are known for.
Once again, Parker measured the opposition down to a tee, sidestepping Al Jefferson in the same fashion we’d previously seen him do to Hinrich, before laying the ball in with a pretty right hand finish from the “wrong” side of the rim.
