#8. Philadelphia 76ers – 10/31/2014, Bradley Center
This play comes from Halloween night, where appropriately Parker may have given a scare for the future to fans and executives around the league.
To make it to the NBA, there’s already no question that a player has talent. What defines just how successful they can be, particularly as a rookie, is how quickly they acclimatize to the pace of the league, and develop an understanding with their teammates.
Against the Philadelphia 76ers here, Parker showed that he already had a sense of maturity and timing to make the correct decisions with his teammates to help the team score.
With the Bucks once again on the break, Parker could easily have tried to go all the way to the rim (as we saw in the previous highlights), but instead he recognized the support he had in the form of point guard Brandon Knight.
A quick give-and-go later, Parker had completed a beautifully clinical alley-oop assisted by Knight.
